Obituary: Kenneth Eugene Hobbs, 73, Shepherdsville
Kenneth Eugene Hobbs, 73, of Shepherdsville, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Louisville. He was a retired driver for 
Online Transportation and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony “Tony” Hobbs; his parents, Fred and Madaline Poynter Hobbs; and two brothers, William Hobbs and Robert Hobbs.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hobbs; two daughters, Penney Hobbs and Detra Yocum; one sister-in-law, Karen Hobbs; and two grandchildren, Trenton Hogan and Kailyn Hogan.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
