Obituary: Mary Eugenia Anderson, 75, Danville
Mary Eugenia Anderson, 75, of Danville, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015. She was a native of New Hope, born March 28, 1940, to the late Dennis William and Mary Ellen Masterson Devers.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lois Jean Richardson, Dorothy Howell, Elizabeth Jane Harris and infant Maria Goretti Devers; five brothers, William Paul Devers, Joseph Newman Devers, Donnie Devers, Dennis Devers and infant Douglas McArthur Devers.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Denise Anderson (Jay Schlegel) of North Royalton, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Ann Devers of Nerinx and Martha Kimberlin (Chuck) of Louisville; one brother, Joseph Webb Devers of Cecilia; a number of nieces and nephews; and Forest Tucker and family.
The Memorial Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 104 Church Street, New Hope with the Rev. Ken Fortener officiating. Burial of the cremated remains is in the church cemetery.
The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
