Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 — The Bardstown City Council met Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, and approved first reading on changes to its alcohol beverage sales ordinance; approved monetary penalties for violations of ordinances related to animal control; drainage; occupational tax payment; nuisances; property maintenance; signs; and solid waste. The council also approved a resolution declaring Jan 1-8 Bible Reading Week and bids for equipment to allow remote meter reading of electric meters. The council turned down first reading on an ordinance that would change the meeting start time from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Running time 58:39)
