Obituary: Mildred Evelyn Motsinger Jordan, 87, Hodgenville

Mildred Evelyn Motsinger Jordan, 87, of Hodgenville, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville. She was born Jan. 30, 1928 in Jackson County, Ind. She lived many years in Kingsport, Tenn., until moving to Kentucky where she was a long time member funeral_flowerfor many years at Temple Hill Apostolic Church in Boston where her husband was the minister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Leo Jordan; her parents, Clyde and Clara Hanner Motsinger; one sister, Gladys Waskom; and one brother Gerald Motsinger.

She is survived by four daughters, Cheyenne (Bill) Bradberry of Chattanooga, Tenn., Penny (Harvey) Kent of Hodgenville, Jill Deaton of Elizabethtown and April Jordan (Jeff) Fraley of Kingsport, Tenn; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with the Rev. Tim Stockley officiating. Burial is in the Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunrise Manor Volunteers, 717 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, KY 42748.
