Obituary: Martha Nell Brady, 85, Lebanon
Martha Nell Brady, 85, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Springview Hospital in Lebanon. She was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Raywick. She was a former homemaker and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Callie Bickett Nugent; one son, Pat Brady; one sister, Patricia Nugent; and three brothers, Buddy Nugent, Kenny Nugent and Jimmy Nugent.
Survivors include her former husband, Al Brady of Lebanon; four daughters, Loretta Farmer (B. J.), Charlotte Mattingly (Doug) and Sheila Hagan, all of Lebanon, and Pam Hill (Ronnie) of Springfield; three sons, Danny Brady (Ruth), John Brady and Tim Brady (Paula), all of Lebanon; two sisters, Rose Cissell (Leon) of Loretto and Mary Nugent of Lebanon; one brother, Ray Nugent (Jane) of Loretto; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street in Raywick. Burial is in the St. Joe Cemetery with the Rev. James W. Graf and the Rev. Bill Bowling concelebrating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. by Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Memorial donations may go to the St. Joe Community Center and can be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Jordan Brady, Austin Brady, Nathan Yaste, Logan Mattingly, Cody Farmer and Henry Hagan.
Honorary pallbearers are great-grandchildren, Chad Brady, Ceirra Roberts, Abigail Hagan, Claire Hagan, Gabe Hagan, Caleb Yaste, Caroline Colvin, Leanne Oberhausen and Eilish Brady.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
