Obituary: James T. Cahoe, 68, Bardstown
James T. Cahoe, 68, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1947 in Marion County. He retired from Jim Beam Distillery and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Cahoe; and one brother, John Virgil Cahoe.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Cahoe of Bardstown; six daughters, Linda Coulter of Willisburg, Angela (Mike) Newton and Shee Shee (Steve) Nalley, both of New Haven, Kimberly Cahoe and Jamie Jane Cahoe, both of Bardstown, and Reyna (Derek) L’Italien of Papillion, Neb.; his mother, Mary Pauline Cahoe of Bardstown; one sister, Margaret Mattingly of Lexington; four brothers, David Larry (Peggy) Cahoe, Herman Joseph (Carol) Cahoe, Roger (Janine) Cahoe, and Terry Cahoe, all of Bardstown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jason Harris will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, and 8-9:15 a.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Memorial donations may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
