Obituary: Davis Lee ‘D.L.’ Huston Jr., 84, Bardstown
Davis Lee “D.L.” Huston Jr., 84, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at his home. He was a former resident of Bloomfield, a retired 
school administrator and teacher for the Nelson County Board of Education, a former high school basketball and track coach, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Bloomfield-Big Spring Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Huston; his parents, Davis Lee Sr. and Nancy Muir Huston; and one sister, Margaret Huston Potter.
He is survived by one daughter, Kim Huston (Mike Sherer) of Bardstown; one son, Davis L. “Tiger” (Mara) Huston of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren, Erin (Clint) Vaughn, Meg Kirkpatrick, Davis L. Huston IV and Drew Huston.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorial contributions go to the Guthrie Opportunity Center or Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
