Obituary: Nellie Margaret Hart Staggs, 100, Louisville

Nellie Margaret Hart Staggs, 100, of Louisville, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. She was a former telephone operator for South Central Bell and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. She was a loyal, hard working lady who loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Staggs; and her parents, William and Lillie Ann Hart.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Daugherty; two grandchildren, Adrienne Riggs (Daniel) and Andy Daugherty; and one great-grandson, Joseph Riggs.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at Locust Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hardin Memorial Park.

Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
