Obituary: Anna Elizabeth Spalding Higdon, 88, Lebanon
ANNA ELIZABETH SPALDING HIGDON
Anna Elizabeth Spalding Higdon, 88, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at The Village of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born to Charles Martin and Benita Abell Spalding on Nov. 13, 1927. She was retired from the Marion County School System and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas Higdon; her parents, Charles Martin and Benita Abell Spading; one son, Thomas Paul Higdon; and one daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Higdon.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Crews and Debbie Higdon, both of Lebanon; three sons, Gary Higdon, Mike Higdon and Rick Higdon, all of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Working the Puzzle for Autism, Inc. and The Marion County Good Samaritans Foundation, Inc.
The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
