Obituary: Hansford Lee ‘Hank’ Prewitt, 76, Bloomfield
Hansford Lee “Hank” Prewitt, 76, of Bloomfield, deid Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, in Fordsville Nursing & Rehab in Fordsville. He was born March 17, 1939, to the late Dewey and Ora Lee Bowman Prewitt. He was a farmer who loved to pull tractors with his sons. He was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Prewitt; one son, Jackie “Luke” Prewitt; two sisters, Ruby Ethel Morris and Bonnie Sweazy; and one brother, Marvin Prewitt.
He is survived by two sons, Hank (JoAnn) Prewitt Jr. of Cox’s Creek and Ricky (Teresa) Prewitt of Bloomfield; one sister, Blanche (James) Hardin of Chaplin; four brothers, Bro. James Norris (Betty) Prewitt of Tenn., Kenneth Prewitt of Shelbyville, Harold Ray Prewitt of Bardstown, and David Cody (Marilyn) Prewitt of Chaplin; five grandchildren; and one stepgranddaughter.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at the funeral home.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
