BELINDA BURK

Belinda Burk, 64, of Boston, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Louisville. She was a homemaker and a member of First General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.

She was preceded in death by her son, Walter LeRoy Burk Jr.; and her parents, Tommie and Alma Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Burk of Boston; one daughter, Sandra (Johnny Baumgardner) Johnson of Boston; one son, Floyd (Ashley) Burk of Radcliff; two sisters, Jean Perry and Ruby Hardin, both of Louisville; one granddaughter, Amanda Johnson of Boston; and a special friend, Robin Reid of Springfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at the First General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville with burial in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery in Boston with the Rev. Glen Atherton officiating.

Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may go toward the service of Belinda Burk.
