Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, 10 p.m. — Six members of Boy Scott Troop 147 received their Eagle Scout rank at a special Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bardstown.
Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges, demonstrating Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership, and an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages.
