Obituary: Kristal Edelen Lyvers, 36, Louisville
Kristal Edelen Lyvers, 36, of Louisville, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at her residence. She was born Oct. 11, 1979, in Louisville. She was a Bardstown native.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremy James Lyvers; her paternal grandparents, John C. and Mildred Edelen; and her maternal grandparents, Joe B. and Marguerite Sweeney.
She is survived by one daughter, Ashton Lyn Lyvers, at home; one son, Noah Michael Lyvers, at home; her father, Mike Edelen of Bardstown; her mother, Dianne Sweeney Edelen of Bardstown; two sisters, Michelle Mattingly of Bardstown and Leigh (Eric) Ulrich of Cox’s Creek; one brother-in-law, Kenny Mattingly of Bardstown; several nieces and nephews, Zach, Lincoln, Cole, Sawyer, and Kennedy Mattingly, Katie, Matthew, Mollie and Keegan Ulrich; and several aunt, uncles and cousins.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at St. Gregory Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Graffis officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may go to a trust for Ashton Lyn and Noah Michael Lyvers.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
