Obituary: Joseph Carl Hagan, 80, Louisville

Joseph Carl Hagan, 80, of Louisville, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born Nov. 20, 1935, in Washington County. He was a retired employee of Boland-Maloney Company in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine Corbett Hagan; his parents, Joseph Adolphus and Mary Teresa Cecil Hagan; and two brothers, Gerald Hagan and Raymond Hagan.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla Crecelius (Mike) and Ruth Ann Hagan, both of Louisville; one son, Jerry Hagan (Debbie) of Mount Washington; three sisters, Bernadine Downs (Lorenza), Shirley Greenwell and Jane Smith (Bud), all of Louisville; and one brother, Leroy Hagan (Barbara Ann) of Louisville.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 6964 Cissellville Road, Manton, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Matt Hardesty will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Pallbearers are Brad Hagan, Doug Rogers, Mike Greenwell, Louie Greenwell, Zack Straub and Tom Edelen.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
