Obituary: Margaret Rose Johns, 70, Lebanon Junction

Margaret Rose Johns, 70, of Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was retired from Publishers Printing Company where she worked in the Lebanon Junction Bindery Quality Control. She was a Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Johns; her parents, William and Nannie Rose Mattingly Blair; and her granddaughter, Alisha Marie Polly.

Survivors include one daughter, Missy (Bryan) MacDonald; three sons, Roger (Janice) Johns, Troy (Angela) Johns and Craig (Pam) Johns; two sisters, Mary Lou Reece and Georgie Elzy; one brother, William Blair; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
