Traffic stop leads to Bullitt Co. man’s arrest on drug-related charges

Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, 2 p.m. — A Shepherdsville man observed by police driving his vehicle without wearing a seat belt led to his arrest Friday morning.

bardstownpolicepatchAt about 8 a.m. Friday, Chadren W. Frisby, 36, of Shepherdsville, was observed driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche on KY245 near Handy Food Mart without a seat belt by Bardstown Police Officer Kyler Wright. Wright conducted a traffic stop, which led police to find Frisby in possession of 9 grams of methamphetamine, $694 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Frisby was charged with trafficking controlled substances, first-degree (methamphetamine); failure to wear seat belts; tampering with physical evidence; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to maintain required insurance. He was also charged with violating a Kentucky emergency protective order / domestic violence order for sending messages by social media, email, and leaving a letter in the petitioner’s mailbox. He was lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
