Bardstown man charged with burglary of storage unit, dirt bike theft

Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, 3 p.m. — A Bardstown man was arrested Monday after an investigation into a burglary at the Maywood U-Store-It, 225 Parkway Drive, and theft of a dirt bike from Bardstown Mills, 1393 Withrow Court.

Patrick Bruce Davidson, 44, was arrested on burglary and theft charges after an investigation by Bardstown Police Detective Lynn Davis. According to police, Davidson allegedly cut a portion of the security fence and burglarized the storage unit on Dec. 10, 2015. Police also believe Davidson took a dirt bike from Bardstown Mills on Dec. 7, and failed in an attempt to take a trailer the same day.

Police have not recovered the dirt bike.
