Obituary: Mary Thomas “Tommie” Hahn, 79, Chaplin
Mary Thomas “Tommie” Hahn, 79, of Chaplin, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at her home. She was the former Mary Thomas Walker, born Oct. 31, 1936. to the late Thomas Stephen and Mary Aline Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Chaplin Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hahn; and three sisters, Bobbi Downs, Nancy Nally, and Betty Clan.
She is survived by her daughter, Dee (James Allen) Wiggs of Cox’s Creek;
two sons, Bill (Cheri) Hahn Jr. and Brent (Kim) Hahn, both of Chaplin; two sisters, Marie Sandusky of Bardstown and Theresa (Ken) Donald of Arizona; three brothers, Ken (Marilyn) Walker of Bloomfield, and Joe Carl (Angela) Walker and Harold Walker, both of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Lee Cox and Bro. Josh Simpson officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery at Chaplin.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Chaplin Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
