Obituary: Ramona Bartley Coffey, 50, of Hodgenville
Ramona Bartley Coffey, 50, of Hodgenville, died peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at her home after a nearly 11 year battle with cancer.
She was a U.S. Army veteran, the former office and circulation manager for the LaRue County Herald-News, a member of Union Christian Church, an avid hunter and fisherman and a Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph William Bartley.
She is survived by her husband, Davy Coffey; one daughter, Brittany (Austin) Smith of California; one son, Brandon Struck of Hodgenville; one stepdaughter, Jodi (Jeff) Brooks of Hodgenville; her mother, Wanda Nalley Bartley of Bardstown; two sisters, Sandra Bartley of Bardstown and Debbie (Terry) Brown of Lebanon; two brothers, Lee Bartley and Bill Bartley, both of Bardstown; and three grandchildren, Shelbi Brooks, Savannah Brooks and Lyndon Smith.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Union Christian Church in Hodgenville with Bro. Steve Campbell and the Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
