Bardstown man arrested on charges he had sex with minors ages 12, 13

Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, 9:10 a.m. — An 18-year-old Bardstown man was arrested Tuesday on charges he had sex with a minor following an investigation by Bardstown Police Detective Jason Woodson.
Michael D. Cornish, 18, was arrested and charged with three counts of rape, second-degree and three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor. He was lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
According to a police press release, Cornish allegedly had sex with a two victims, one 12 years old and the second 13 years old. Police say Cornish admitted having sex with one of the victims but not both.
