Obituary: Randy Litsey, 49, Bardstown

Randy Litsey, 49, of Bardstown, died Saturday Jan. 23, 2016, at University Hospital in Louisville.

He was born Feb. 9, 1966, in Bardstown. He was a former employee for the State of Kentucky. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of American Legion Post 167 and the First Baptist Church of Bardstown.

He is survived by his daughter, Jerena Hagan of Bardstown; his mother, Barbara Litsey of Louisville; his father, Eddie Litsey of Bardstown; one brother, Carlos (April) Litsey of Lebanon; three sisters, Tracy Litsey and Jessica Litsey, both of Jeffersonville, and Monica Litsey of Louisville; a lifetime friend, Tony Lancaster of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Smith will officiate.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
