Social media tips put Bardstown Police on the trail of theft suspects

Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, 3:30 p.m. — Two Louisville men were arrested Friday by Bardstown Police as they followed up on tips they received via social media. On Thursday, Bardstown Police posted photos of the vehicle driven by suspects in a theft at Lowe’s. Information they received allowed Bardstown police detectives to locate and arrest the suspects.

Ryan Lee Vanhuss, 28, of Louisville, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Kile Duduane Beavin, 41, was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded.
