One injured in vehicle crash on Louisville Road at Plum Run

Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, 9 p.m. — One person was injured Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Louisville Road at its intersection with Plum Run Road. At about 6:40 p.m., the Bardstown Fire Department, Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS were dispatched for an injury accident with possible entrapment. Firefighters had to force the door open so the victim, a 25-year-old woman, could exit the vehicle. She was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital with complaints of neck, hip and lower back pain. Two other individuals refused transport by EMS.
