Obituary: Larry Wayne McCubbins, 69, Lebanon Junction

Larry Wayne McCubbins, 69, of Lebanon Junction, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was retired from The Home of the Innocence as a nursing aide. He also was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Lee and Lyla Inez Masden McCubbins; and two brothers, Danny McCubbins and Richard McCubbins.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Marshall McCubbins; three sons, Michael McCubbins, Jeffrey McCubbins and Joe McCubbins; one sister, Betty Caldwell; four brothers, Steve McCubbins, Roger McCubbins, Edward McCubbins and Doug McCubbins; and five grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Pastor Mike Rodgers officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
