JOSEPH ROBERT “JOEY” NALLEY III

Joseph Robert “Joey” Nalley III, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born Feb. 3, 1967, in Louisville to the late Joseph Robert and Brenda Cheryl Harris Nalley II. He was the owner of Creative Design Tattoo in Bardstown where he was a tattoo artist. He loved his family, his dogs, and Camaros. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle “Itsy” Nalley; one brother, Michael Wayne Nalley; and one niece Alivia Brooke Boblitt.

He is survived by his wife, Kara Wheeler-Nalley; one daughter, Shelby Nalley; two sons, Joseph Robert “Gig” Nalley IV, and Camron Nalley; three step-sons, Austin Foster and Gabe Wheeler, both of Bardstown, and Marshall Rhodie Wheeler of New Haven; one sister, Amber (Kurtis Brooks) Boblitt of Bardstown; and one brother, Chris (Candice Rae Spencer) Nalley of Bloomfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the St. Francis Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
