Obituary: Norma D. Langley Plourde, 85, Spencer County

Norma D. Langley Plourde, 85, of Spencer County, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Signature Health Care of Spencer County. She was born June 14, 1930, in Grayson County.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven D. Langley and Danny T. Langley; her parents, Blummer and Elizabeth Edwards; and one brother, Charles Edwards.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam (Jeff) Walston of Bardstown; two sons, Gerald Langley of Clarkson and Mike (Terry) Langley of Louisville; one sister, Carolyn (Bob) Hatfield of Clarkson; four brothers, Gene (Kitty) Edwards of Cecilia, Raymond (Sandy) Edwards of Elizabethtown, Richard (Mickie) Edwards of Big Clifty, and Gary (Ella) Edwards of Hodgenville; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with Chaplain Suzanne Priddy officiating.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016.

Memorial contributions may go to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
