Pottershop Road home damaged by Sunday morning attic fire

Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, 4:19 p.m. — A Pottershop Road home was damaged by a fire Sunday at about 7:30 a.m. Nelson County Fire & Rescue and Nelson County EMS were dispatched to a home in the 2300 block of Pottershop Road for a possible structure fire. The first crews on the scene reported smoke visible coming from the eaves of the home. Firefighters found a small fire in the attic and extinguished it. First-responders were on the scene for about 90 minutes.
