Obituary: Delores Mullins Salsman, 88 Bardstown
Delores Mullins Salsman, 88 of Bardstown, met her heavenly father on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, in peaceful sleep. She was born in the Little St. Joe community of Marion County on Aug. 25, 1927, to the late Louis Jackson Thompson and Mary Mildred Martin Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Victor Mullins Sr. and Joseph Dan Salsman; three sisters, Aileen Hughes, Marcella Pottinger and Emogene Ceislik; two brothers, Richard Thompson and Howard Thompson; one grandson James Chad Leake; two sons-in-law Joseph Darrell Ralston and Dick Corbett.
Survivors include six daughters; Linda Ralston, Myra Bradshaw (Jerry) both of Lebanon, Jennifer Corbett Sullivan (John) of Danville, Mimie Brown (Tommy) of Louisville, Debbie O’Daniel (Joe Pat) of Bowling Green, and Mary Ann Whitehouse (Raphy) of Bardstown; three sons, Victor Mullins of Oakland, Calif., Michael Mullins (Terri) of Lebanon and Joey Mullins of Bardstown; 36 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon with the Rev. Kevin McGrath officiating. Altar servers are great-granddaughters Nicole Montgomery and Emma Settles.
Active pallbearers are grandsons Eric Bradshaw, Joey Ralston, Jeff and Chuck Corbett, Patrick and Clinton Mullins, Wayne, David, Luke and Aaron Whitehouse, and Pat Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers include granddaughters Candace O’Bryan, Hannah Varga, Shannon Edwards, Annalise Montgomery, Lorelei Raikes, Carrie Ann Corbett, Shelly Lyons, Maria Roberts, Melissa Settles, Crystal Richardson, Mary Michael McDonald, Rebecca Peck , Theresa Lovejoy, Whitney Carter, Renee Butler, Emily O’Daniel, Lilah Willard, Sheri Raikes, Kaylin Whitehouse, Kelly Holland and Shannon Myers.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
