ROBERT EDWARD “BOY” CONNER
Robert Edward “Boy” Conner, 59, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Thursday Feb. 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 24, 1956, in Bardstown. He retired from the U. S. Army and Trane – Ingersol Rand. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Abraham Lincoln Post 167, and St. John’s AME Zion Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Josephine Conner; and sister, Mary Lou Conner.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Conner of Clarksville, Tenn.; three daughters, Tamela Conner (Steve) Pratt of Bowie, Md., Lissa (Bryant Butler) Conner, and Roshelle (Maurice) Crump, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; one son, Robert Conner Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn.; seven sisters, Sarah (Terry) Cotton of Fairfield, Betty Jo Webb of Louisville, Mildred Williams of Lebanon and Elizabeth Williams, Anna Conner, Edna Mae Conner, and Joyce Conner all of Bardstown; 11 grandchildren, Bryanna, Jeremiah, Cierra, Talyssa, Teresa, Nylazia, Natalie, Jazmine, Jayden, Charleston, and Conner; three aunts; two uncles; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is noon Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Calhoun officiating.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 and 9 a.m.-noon Monday at the funeral home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
