GEORGIA BELL LIVERS

Georgia Bell Livers, 88, of Bardstown, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at her daughter’s residence. She was the former Georgia Bell Allen who was born March 14, 1927, in Bloomfield to the late Charles and Susie Bell Davis Allen. She was a homemaker and a member of Bloomfield Second Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bud Tap” Livers; one sister, Mary Katherine Marshall; and two brothers, Herbert Allen and Charles Allen.

She is survived by four daughters, Ann (Arthur) Griffin, Shirley (Ronald, Sr.) Grady, Carolyn Livers, and Doris Livers, all of Louisville; one sister, Sue Gladys Allen of Louisville; a nephew who was like a son, Tony Brown of Louisville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at the Bloomfield Second Baptist Church in Bloomfield with burial in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
