Pedestrian suffers minor injury Monday when struck by vehicle

Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, 4:15 p.m. — A 70-year-old woman suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon when she was struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of Deatsville Loop. Nelson County EMS and police were dispatched at about 3:40 p.m. for a pedestrian reportedly struck by a vehicle. According to first-responders, the woman was bumped and knocked to the ground by a vehicle backing out of a driveway. She was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital with a possible head injury.
