Obituary: Hubert Norris Brady Sr., 84, St. Joe
Hubert Norris Brady Sr., 84 of St. Joe, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1931, in St. Joe. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Patrick and Mary Josephine Morris Brady; two sisters, Borgie Lee and Elizabeth Riney; four brothers, Jim Brady, Mack Brady, Donald Brady and Charles Brady.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Bland Brady of St. Joe; three daughters, Evelyn Brady and Connie Brady, both of St. Joe, KY and Janet Dixon of Campbellsville; three brothers, Bobby Brad and Al Brady, both of St. Joe and Gabe Brady of Louisville; five sons, Paul Bland Brady, Norman Patrick Brady, Joe Paul “Joey” Brady, Hubert Norris “Bucky” Brady Jr., and Travis Brady, all of St. Joe; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick with burial in the St. Joe Cemetery in Marion County with military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joe Community Center.
The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
