Two people injured Sunday evening in three-vehicle accident

Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, 12:02 a.m. — Two people were injured Sunday evening in a three-vehicle accident that happened on East John Rowan at Salem Drive. Nelson County EMS, city police and city fire units were dispatched to the injury accident at about 7:35 p.m. EMS transported a 52-year-old female from the scene for neck and lower back pain. About 30 minutes later, EMS was dispatched to an address on Wilble Boulevard to transport a second accident victim to the hospital who complained of chest and ankle pain.
