Obituary: Donna Lynn Whitaker Rodgers, 64, Lebanon Junction

Donna Lynn Whitaker Rodgers, 64, of Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at the Norton Hosparus Unit. She was a self-employed beautician at Donna’s Hair Design in Lebanon Junction. She was the worship leader and a founding member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Lebanon Junction.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Cleveland Whitaker.

Survivors include her husband, Pastor Mike Rodgers; her children whom she dearly loved, Michael Dewey Rogers, Jr. (Geraldine Asunchion), Brian Paul Rodgers (Kelli Clayton) and Heather Renee McLarnery (Steven Michael); her mother, Mildred “Mom” Whitaker; three sisters, Norma Napier, Judy Scott and Renee Garber; two brothers, Barry Whitaker and Kevin Whitaker; and 16 grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Bob Rodgers officiating. Burial is in Crosswater Gardens in Louisville.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Monday af the church.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
