Edward Athanasius “Eddie Boo” Mattingly, 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born June 9, 1937, in Calvary. He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.A. Mattingly and Nannie Elizabeth Harmon Mattingly; one sister, Pat Mattingly; and two brothers, Joe Mattingly and Charlie Mattingly.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Vaughn of St. Joe and Elisha (Toby) Hagan of Loretto; four sisters, Gracie Campbell of Campbellsville, Barbara Bartley of Lebanon, Betty Jane Bickett of Loretto and Theresa Arnold of Frankfort; two brothers, Thomas Louis Mattingly of Springfield and Willie Boo Mattingly of Calvary; and four grandchildren, Jared Vaughn, Logan Vaughn, Wyatt Hagan and Weston Hagan.
The Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon was in charge of the arrangements.
