Tickets still available for Lincoln Day Dinner event this evening

Thursday, March 3, 2016 — Area residents are invited to attend “An All American Evening” tonight as part of the 2016 Lincoln Day Dinner in Bardstown.

The annual fundraiser is sponsored by the county Republican women’s group and is a great prelude to Kentucky’s first presidential caucus on Saturday.

Abraham Lincoln American Legion Post 167, 202 Downs Lane in Bardstown is hosting the dinner. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet social hour.

The confirmed guest list includes Lt. Gov. Janeen Hampton; State Treasurer Allison Ball; State Auditor Mike Harmon; Sen. Jimmy Higdon; Rep. Dave Floyd; and Chad McCoy, the Republican candidate for the 50th District state representative. Other guests — or their representatives — are expected to attend as well.

Tickets are $45 per person at the door. All are welcome to attend regardless of party affiliation.
