Obituary: Dallas ‘Tex’ Craven, 69, Bardstown
Dallas “Tex” Craven, 69, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1946, in Raywick. He was retired from Jay Boone Construction. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pappy and Nell Craven.
He is survived by one daughter, Lynn (Mike) Adkins of Bardstown; one sister, Shelida Lee of Raywick; two grandsons, Jeffrey Barnett and Justin Barnett, both of Bardstown; three great-grandchildren, Autum Barnett, Inne Kidwell, and Bentley Kidwell, all of Bardstown; and one nephew, Bobby Lee of Bardstown.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Ken Fortner officiating.
Visitation is noon-6 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016 and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home with a prayer service Sunday afternoon.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
