Obituary: Robert F. McDougal, Hodgenville
Robert F. McDougal of Hodgenville died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served two years. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Hobert and Mary Elizabeth Moore McDougal; two sisters, Claudine Thomas and Mabel Lee; and two brothers, Joe Louis McDougal and Charles Edward McDougal.
Survivors include his wife of 56 year, Sallye Miller McDougal of Hodgenville; one son, Larry McDougal of Louisville; two sisters, Edna Mae (William) Taylor and Mary Blanche Woods, both of Elizabethtown; one granddaughters, Tiffany McDougal; and two great-grandchildren, Nyree and Nyema.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel in Hodgenville with the Rev. Charles Dixon officiating. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 North Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, is in charge of the arrangements.
