Obituary: James Edward Booth, 70, New Haven

James Edward Booth, 70, of New Haven, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at his home. He was retired from International Harvester and a member of Cove Baptist Church.

funeral_candleHe was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Thomas Booth and Betty Myrtle Milburn Skeeters; two sisters, Martha Perkins and Evelyn Jacobs; two brothers, Kenny Ray and Jerry Richard.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Marie Keesee Booth; three daughters, Sherri Logsdon (Darrell), Lynn Obremski (Travis) and Diane Alleman; one brother, William “Cowboy” Richard; seven grandchildren, Brian Whelan, Christopher Burgin, Brandon Whelan, Cody Lee Long, Nikki Rojas, Lyndzy Obremski and Danielle Alleman; and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Ron Davis officiating. Burial is in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hardin County.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
