Northeast Nelson firefighters respond for brush fire on Love Ridge Rd.

Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 10 p.m. — The Northeast Nelson Fire Department responded Tuesday evening at 7:45 p.m. for a field fire on Love Ridge Road near its intersection with KY 55. Firefighters arrived to find one to two acres on fire. They extinguished the fire and were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
