LILLIAN IRENE RIGGS
Lillian Irene Riggs, 85, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown after a short illness. She was a retired employee of Jane & Linda Sportsware. She was born on June 3, 1930, in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Colbert Riggs and her parents, Michael Taylor Smith and Lula Hafley Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Debra (Glenn) Lee of Calvary, Julita (Rodney) Jefferies of Campbellsville, Lisa (Tony) Rummage of Lebanon; five sons, Micheal (Dorothy) Riggs of Calvary, Randall (Teresa) Riggs of Springfield, Frankie (Kim) Riggs of Elizabethtown, Tommy Riggs and Glenn Riggs, both of Lebanon; an honorary son, Jimmy Mattingly of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon officiated by Bro. Josh Hicks, Bro. Troy Mattingly, and Bro. Robbie Harmon. Burial is in the St. Rose Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at the funeral home.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
