Obituary: Susan Virginia ‘Gin’ Yocum, 80, Lebanon
Susan Virginia “Gin” Yocum, 80, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her residence. She was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Marion County. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Henry Yocum; her parents, George Ohrius Porter and Helen Porter; one daughter, Mary Julita Yocum; one sister, Beatrice Washington; and three brothers, Frank Porder, J.L. Porter and Adrian Porter.
She is survived by four daughters, Susan Yocum, Sarah Yocum and Angela (Gary) Crenshaw, all of Lebanon, and Jennifer Yocum of Fayetteville, N.C.; five sons, William Yocum of Weatherford, Texas, George (Harriet) Yocum of St. Mary’s, John (Jeanie) Yocum. both of St. Mary’s, Michael (Gam) Yocum of Lebanon and Steven (Linda) Yocum of California; three sisters, Josie (William) Spalding, Nannie (Emmett) McKay and Margaret Spalding, all of Lebanon; one brother, Neal Porter of Lebanon; 31 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at St. Charles Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
