Obituary: Edith Mae Howell Wiser, 78, Lebanon

Edith Mae Howell Wiser, 78, of Lebanon, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at University Hospital. She was born May 29, 1937, in Lebanon. She was a member of the River of Life Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Coleman “O.C.” Wiser; her parents, William Sherman Howell and Biddie Warren Howell; one son, Ronald Coleman Wiser; two sisters, Cora Rawling and Alice Childers; and two brothers, Charles Howell and Thomas Howell.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Ann Hourigan of Lebanon; one son, Roger Dale Wiser, Lebanon; and five grandchildren, Bethany James of Bowling Green, Lorie Hourigan of Lexington, and Jackie Votaw, Cole Wiser and Kristie Wiser, all of Lebanon.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bro. Troy Shelton officiating. Burial is in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the funeral home.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
