Obituary: Valerie Chesser Curtsinger, 64, of Chaplin

Valerie Chesser Curtsinger, 64, of Chaplin, died at 5:02 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was a native of Washington County, born Oct. 25, 1951, to the late Eddie Ray and Viola Chesser.

She was a graduate of Willisburg High School. She was a former employee of Medco Center of Springfield and a current employee of Colonial Health and Rehab in Bardstown.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Eddie Ray Chesser Jr. (March 4, 2001), Hobert Chesser (Nov. 10, 1991) and Stanley Chesser (Nov. 4, 2008).

Survivors include her fiancé, Roger Harrell of Bardstown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield.

Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of the arrangements.
