Obituary: Peggye Buzick, 79, Bardstown
PEGGYE BUZICK
Peggye Buzick, 79, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at her residence. She was the former Peggye Graham, born May 11, 1936, in Bloomfield to the late Bruce and Bessie Caldwell Graham. She was a retired bookkeeper at Buzick Lumber Co., and a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Buzick; one daughter, Jennifer Warner, a stepgrandson, Robert Anthony Elmore; three sisters; and five brothers.
She is survived by three stepdaughters, Cathy Buzick, Susan Elmore, and Donna (Tommy) Blincoe, all of Bardstown; one stepson, Cliff (Patty) Buzick of Bardstown; three brothers, James P. “Dude” (Narma) Graham of Bardstown, Alan B. (Beverly) Graham of Frankfort, Dr. Jerry (Charlene) Graham of Huntsville, Ala.; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road with Bro. Richard Carwile officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
