Obituary: Dennis Leon Manley 53, Shepherdsville

Dennis Leon Manley 53, of Shepherdsville, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at Louisville Veterans Medical Center. He was a Christian by faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Manley, and one brother David Manley.

He is survived by his children, Jason Allen (Jennifer) of Bowling Green, Issac Manley of Mount Eden, Nikki Russell (Jason) of Glasgow, Brittany Woolett of Bardstown, Amber Woolett of Bardstown and Katelynn Woolett of Casey County; his mother, Evelyn Manley Freeman (Charles) of Shepherdsville; his wife, Denise Franklin (Curtis) of Taylorsville; one son, Doug Manley of Shepherdsville; three grandchildren, Lilith Russell, Xanthe Russell and Azlynn Russell; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Pastor Khemraj Sewsankar officiating.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
