Obituary: Linda Lou Spurling 69, Lebanon Junction
Linda Lou Spurling 69, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at her home with her family by her side. She was a Baptist by faith and had been attending Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved going to the bingo hall, shopping at the flea market, flowers and gardening.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, William Spurling; her parents Harley and Ramona McCubbins; and one brother William McCubbins.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Eldridge (Raymond) of Lebanon Junction and Melissa Crenshaw (Chris) of Shepherdsville; one son, Doug Spurling (Crystal) of Bardstown; three siblings, Randall McCubbins (Sherry) of Lebanon Junction, Danny McCubbins (Edward) of Shepherdsville and Robin McCubbins of Shepherdsville; one brother-in-law, Timmy Spurling (Jessie) of Lebanon Junction; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Bro. Sonny Mull officiating. Burial is in Vine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
