Obituary: Mary Ann McMahan, 66, Bardstown

Mary Ann McMahan, 66, of Bardstown, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1949, in Lebanon. She had worked for Barton’s Distillery and General Electric.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Inman; her father, Junior Inman; one sister, Bernie Warner; one brother, J.P. Inman; and one niece, Debbie Wine’.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie McMahan of Bardstown; one daughter, Lora Mattingly of Bardstown; two sons, Timmy McMahan of Loretto, Ronnie McMahan Jr. of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; three sisters, Joyce Avis, Wilma “Sissy” Willett and Marie Smith, all of Bardstown; six grandchildren, Jimmy Devary, Michael McMahan, Tony McMahan, Kyle McMahan, Sean McMahan and Steven Mattingly; three great-grandchildren, Trevor McMahan, Lane Thurman and Rachel McMahan; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Batcheldor officiating.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
