FREDDIE LEROY NALLEY

Freddie Leroy Nalley, 76, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late James and Mattie Coyle Nalley. He was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Nelson County. He was a retired welder for Carrier Machinery in Louisville, and attended Central Avenue Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Inez Grippie, Christine Howard, and Margaret Coyle; and two brothers, George Nalley and Chester Nalley.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise Howard Nalley; one daughter, Debbie (Charles) Bowling of Ashland; one sister, Garnetta (Skippy) Poe of Colonial Heights, Va.; and one grandson, Brad (Leila) Bowling of Cincinnati.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Wicker officiating. Burial is in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown, and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
