Sister Lee Connolly SL, 92, of Nerinx, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
SISTER LEE CONNOLLY, SL
She was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Chicago to the late William and Mary Collopy Connolly. She entered religious life in 1942 and received her final vows Aug. 15, 1948. She attended A.B. Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colo. and St. Louis University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Her assignments were in Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and Alabama. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2004.
She donated her body to science.
Her Memorial Mass is 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Loretto Motherhouse Church.
A wake is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Motherhouse.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
